That's right, folks! This year, we're taking our love for fire ants to the next level with a SUPERHERO twist. Put on your capes and masks because the theme for the 2024 Fire Ant Festival is none other than "The ANT-vengers"!

It's time to dig out those superhero Halloween costumes you've been holding onto, because this is your chance to become an ANT-venger and protect the festival from all things antsy. Whether you're Team Iron Ant, Captain Ant-merica, Black PANT-ther, the Ant Widow, or any other ant-inspired hero, you're in for a weekend of fun, excitement, and plenty of surprises.

Join us as we celebrate our favorite six-legged friends in style. From ant-themed games to ant-tastic food, and a costume contest like no other, this is a festival you won't want to miss.

Souped-up lawnmowers and daredevil drivers make an exciting event to look forward to at the Fire Ant Festival on the 4th weekend in March in smalltown Ashburn, GA!
Hoping to provide a cool, new experience, the 2nd annual Fire Ant Nationals Lawn Mower Drag Race is one you will not want to miss! It’s a fun, fair, and competitive race with basic lawnmowers that anyone can build, that anyone can enter, and that anyone can have a chance to win first place, without spending a fortune.

Open to any age that can safely drive a lawn mower!

The Turner County Elementary School art classes ar

The Turner County Elementary School art classes are hosting an fire ant art auction to help raise funds for the art program at the school. You can bid in person for any of these items at Red Wall Gallery on Saturday, March 25, 2023 between 10am-5pm. Bids can only be made in person and cost $3 per bid!

The winners will be notified Sunday, March 26 and Art pickup will be Monday, March 27.
