Come and join us for the 2025 Fire Ant Festival Pageant!
Applications will open late fall 2024, early Winter 2025!
Nine new queens will help us celebrate 2025’s Fire Ant Festival. The Fire Ant Festival will be held on March 28-29, 2025 and we would love for all of our queens to be in attendance.

(All checks must be made out to WATERMELON CAPITAL QUEEN PAGEANT) If you are choosing to Paypal your fees, please send paypal to kcard24@hotmail.com. Venmo is also available @kristen-card. If you do not choose to send your fees as “friends & family”, please include $5 to cover the extra Paypal fees. The contestant will not be put in the lineup up until fees and the application are submitted. If you submit an application without fees it will be discarded after 24 hours and a new application will need to be submitted.
Admission into the pageant will be $10 for everyone except the contestant.
Ages 3-under are free.
Divisions
Baby: 0-23 months
Teeny: 2-3 years old
Tiny: 4-6 years old
Little: 7-9 years old
Petite: 10-12 years old
Junior: 13-15 years old
Teen: 16-18 years old
Miss: 19-24 years old
*with enough interest we can add a Ms division*
This is a natural pageant for ages 0-9. Attire is “Sunday best.” If you would wear it to church, it will be perfect for the pageant. Small stones/pearls are fine but just remember, Sunday best. Absolutely NO makeup, spray tans or fake hair are allowed for ages 0-9. We do enforce these rules!!!
Ages 10-up can have spray tans, makeup, and hair extensions if they choose. However, we encourage each contestant to have an age-appropriate look. Ages 10-up will compete in pageant/formal dress. The girls will only compete in their dresses. We will award the best smile, best hair, and best dress in each age division. These optionals are included in your entry fee and are not an additional cost.
We will award a queen and two runner-ups in each division. EVERY contestant will receive a tiara. The runner-ups will receive a trophy and all optional winners will receive a medal. Our newly crowned queens will be awarded a crown, sash, and a trophy.
We will crown one overall People’s Choice Queen. This Queen is selected by the audience members. Each vote is $1 and can be placed in the bag with the contestant’s number located in the lobby. This is not a mandatory event. The newly crowned People’s Choice Queen will be asked to attend appearances with the age division queens. The winner will receive a crown, sash, and trophy. Rules: There will be NO fallback for this pageant. A $30.00 fee will be added to ALL returned checks. Contestants must have never been married, pregnant, or ever had a child. Contestants must be of good moral character and never have been convicted of a crime. There will be no refunds unless the pageant is canceled. Any unruly, unsportsmanlike, or unbecoming conduct by a contestant or member of her entourage, or any disregard for the rules and regulations of the pageant will result in immediate disqualification and dismissal without a refund. Checks should be payable to the Watermelon Capital Queen Pageant. By participating in this pageant, Fire Ant Festival Committee, volunteers of the location of the pageant and its holding from any damage incurred from any injury, loss, or theft sustained, or resulting from, my participation to and from this pageant or any of its related events.
